Sira Resort relaxes, entertains, and revitalizes in a setting of engaging “sustainability,” the central theme, both environmentally, energetically, and socially. Energy sustainability has been pursued through the use of natural resources. A careful assessment of environmental characteristics and climatic factors suggested harnessing solar power with a photovoltaic sail that produces enough energy for the entire resort. The concept of sustainability extends to the importance of “social interaction” in a vacation and hospitality setting. The well-being of people shapes the way the space is organized; streets, squares, and relaxation areas have been designed respecting the “genius loci” of small towns in southern Italy. The Mini Suites are nestled among the trees (pines and eucalyptus), adapting to the natural environment, forming well-defined paths and creating a pleasant walk. This layout also channels sea breezes through the trees, mitigating the local microclimate. Innovative construction solutions have been used so that the materials of the entire resort selectively moderate temperatures, creating a balanced relationship between insulation and thermal accumulation, shaded and sunlit areas, which generate natural airflow due to temperature differences. The resort consists of 107 mini suites in harmony with the environment. The ecologically designed apartments, with modern design and carefully curated furnishings, ensure a fulfilling hospitality experience. All mini suites feature: air conditioning, bed linen, bath linen, safe, Wi-Fi connection, internal phone, and a spacious furnished veranda. The kitchens in the apartments are equipped with dishes and a fridge-freezer. Kitchen linens are not included.
